Through her mentorship and support, she has empowered aspiring women polo players to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.
Beyond her own achievements on the field, Annabel's tireless efforts in promoting inclusivity and creating opportunities for women in polo have left an indelible mark on the sport, inspiring positive change and fostering a more equitable and inclusive polo community.
We are proud as an organisation to be an active part of Ladies Polo and be able to continue the work of the many lady players of previous generations that was so vital in providing the start needed to have the evolving professional sport now seen today.

Raising Awareness
In 2011, Annabel and three friends embarked on a tour of the North of Argentina and Brazil in order to promote Ladies Polo and the new Ladies Polo Handicap invented by Samy Perrusi. An important start to what has turned out to be a massive change to the sport of Ladies Polo.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Actions Not Words
The tour involved playing in numerous clubs and driving to Rio de Janeiro and back, covering over 7500km during 5 weeks.
Starting in Cardales the stops included Uruguaiana, Indaiatuba, Rio de Janeiro, Guara, Orlandia, Ribeirao Preto, Misiones, Corrientes and back to Buenos Aires.
Ladies Polo even in 2011 was a very different sport in terms of professionalism and popularity.
The Ladies Handicap system has massively helped the sport allowing Ladies to have their own handicaps different to mixed general handicaps in order to be able to differentiate and handicap Ladies within the sport more effectively and hence improve the level and competitiveness of the sport.
